Part 1: Readings
- A beautifully baffling mess
- Framing my project in a story format can help refine my ideas by unifying all the disparate concepts into a singular whole. By framing my project as a story, I can focus on individual parts while still having an idea of where my "story" is going. In addition, users respond better to a story, so doing this will lead to more user engagement.
- Hierarchy can be established using font size and weight. It can also be established by the font type, as more detailed or unusual fonts will draw attention over less detailed fonts. Example
Part 2: My Website
- The Problem my website will solve is that people do not have access to easy information about Aeco, the card game I am making.
- My Audience is people who enjoy card games and TTRPGs.
- My Competition is other TTRPG sites, such as D&D Beyond.
- My Key Message is that people who enjoy Aeco can find all the information they need on my website, from rules to lore and everything in between in one convenient stop.
- My Call to Action is that people should purchase Aeco card games!
- Success would be measured for the site in traffic, and for the game in sales.
