The advantage of sketching a wireframe instead of using software is that you have a greater level of control of what you're sketching. It's also way more flexible with the level of detail you want to include, and drawing on paper has much less distractions then being on a computer. The disadvantage is that if you mess up sketching, you have to erase and redraw, while software lets you adjust and redesign as much as you want. Also, software allows you to save and copy templates, which saves time. In addition, software can be interactive, letting you link pages together.
I belive that using software will be the best option for me because I am not a very good artist, and a clean blueprint will be more helpful. In addition, I would like to be able to use more interactive software so I can learn how to use them. Paper cutouts looks interesting too, but I'm still probably going to use software.
The first part of my wireframe, shows how the home page links to other pages and their layouts.
The second part of my wireframe, shows the parts of the rules not visible in the first screenshot.
