A summary of Richard's favorite movies.
I like all of these movies for a variety of reasons, but they all boil down to the idea of artistic intent. They all focus on doing something really well, such as Puss in Boots' animation style, or The Thing's incredible practical visual effects. They all use the visual storytelling medium in some way or another to push their artistic intent.
