When choosing design elements for this page, I had to consider both functionality and form. For the layout, I knew I wanted the page to be well proportioned, with visual elements balanced across the page. It took a while, but I was able to position everything in nice boxes without anything colliding with each other. For the font choices, I decided to pick fonts that were clean and professional to better emphasise the tone of the travel website. I wanted everything from the buttons to the text placement to be simple, clean, and readable.
For the color, I originally wanted to go with an orange and gold color scheme to compliment the tone of Sharn, but then when looking through color palettes, I found this nice cool purple, blue, and grey scheme that I thought better fit the idea of a travel site and still fit with the magic tones of Sharn.
